The RE305 Wi-Fi ‘range extender’ can also act as a dual band wireless access point if connected with wired LAN switch

TP-Link, the well-known networking brand, has broadened its wireless product portfolio by introducing RE305 Wi-Fi ‘range extender’ in the Indian market. Cognizant of the nasty reality of Wi-Fi dead zone, the company brings this wireless range extender allowing users of mobile devices to extract better connectivity from wireless router. This can also act as a dual band wireless access point if connected with wired LAN switches.
This AC1200 Mbps range extender is like an extending hand to weak signal which is crawling to reach users’ devices across rooms. The RE305 lets users keep more devices connected at the same time with its 2.4GHz 300Mbps and 5GHz 867Mbps dual band capability—one can use the 2.4GHz band to send email and browse the web, and the 5GHz band for gaming and HD streaming. Easy to use, the RE305 can connect the extender to a router by pressing the router’s WPS button followed by the extender’s RE/WPS button. Alternatively, one can follow the ‘Quick Setup’ instructions found on the web management page of the device. Once the extender is connected to a router, a user can relocate it to preferred location with no further configuration required. The Intelligent signal light can help to find the best location.
The RE305 works with all Wi-Fi routers. One can use TP-Link’s free Tether app to set up the range extender from any Android or iOS device in minutes. This feature-rich phone app allows users to enjoy not only hassle-free installation, but also access to advanced network management—all at fingertips.

Key Features of RE305
I-Brings Wi-Fi dead zone to life with strong Wi-Fi expansion at combined speed of up to 1.2Gbps.

II-Operates over both the 2.4GHz band(300Mbps) and 5GHz band(867Mbps) for more stable wireless experience.

III-Intelligent signal light helps to fi¬nd the best location for optimal Wi-Fi coverage by showing the signal strength.

IV-Works with any Wi-Fi router or wireless access point.
